ABOUT X'ANGELO CAMUFINGO

X'Angelo Camufingo is the founder of STUBBORN. He works as a psychodynamic coach, organisational consultant, and policy & advocacy advisor. In his work, he supports individuals, teams, organisations, companies, and institutions in change and development processes at the individual, organisational, and systemic levels.
With an academic background in teaching and many years of experience in civil society, education, culture, public institutions, international organisations and the private sector, he combines perspectives that are often viewed separately.
His work lies at the intersection of personal development, organisational transformation and societal change, encompassing areas such as organisational development, leadership, governance, human rights, the environment and political strategy processes.
Since 2017, Angelo has supported numerous projects, organisations, and networks at the national and international levels. He currently works as a policy & advocacy advisor for the European Coalition of Cities Against Racism (ECCAR). In addition, he is a 2025 Fellow of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations and a 2026 Fellow of the Transatlantic Inclusion Leaders Network of the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF).
His particular strength lies in making complex content understandable and accessible, connecting different perspectives, and constructively shaping learning, reflection, and change processes. In addition to his consulting, coaching, and strategy work, Angelo also works as a moderator and author.

WHO IS STUBBORN?
STUBBORN describes the practice under which the coaching, consulting, and strategy development take place. The focus is on supporting individuals, organisations, companies, and institutions through development and transformation processes, as well as addressing complex issues in professional, organisational, and societal contexts.
The name reflects both the nature of the work and the attitude with which it is carried out. STUBBORN is not about resistance for its own sake. It is about staying engaged with difficult questions, remaining curious in the face of complexity and creating space for reflection, learning and transformation.
It reflects a belief that meaningful learning, development and transformation require persistence. Through the work in coaching, consulting and advisory, STUBBORN aims to support these processes at the individual, organisational, and systemic level.
